listening to Nagisa talk about her past there at the end of the episode... i've wondered once during the weekly Japanese airing of this episode and now yet again i'm wondering... why didn't she, her parents, or her teachers think to test her for a learning disability? or a mental deficiency? she just doesn't seem quite... right... to me with that kind of past. twice to three times the work just to hit an average scholastic grade? sure, Japan's schools are kick-ass tough etc. but even the physical fitness/coordination problems or trying music and art and other interests didn't gain her any improvement ever with those amounts of effort? but. she's become such a stellar cook? hell, just LOOKING at her first meal presented to Naoya after her love confession... that damn huge ass bento is GORGEOUS! well. perhaps she's found THAT INTENSE of a personal goal and FINALLY can focus? getting Naoya to like her is that important to Nagisa?
